Advanced Agronomics
Needham Ag understands the role of technology in making better use of limited resources within a specific environment by drawing on a wealth of global experience to overcome the challenges facing today's farmers, manufacturers and dealers. "I'm constantly searching the world looking for new technologies to improve yields and profitability," said Needham who attended the world's two largest agricultural shows in 2005; the Paris Machinery Show in February and the Agri-Technica Show in Hanover, Germany, in November. Philip Needham has had many years of experience overseas helping farmers to better their operations. In 2000 Philip provided supervision and support to 15 Opti-Crop consultants helping farmers grow wheat, canola, corn, beans, and cotton in four regions of Australia: Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. In 1999 he managed a pilot project growing wheat, corn, grain sorghum and sunflowers in the Krasnodar region of Russia. Also in 1997 he managed a 7000 acre barley, wheat, corn and sunflower project in Romania. |
